THE HUMBLE HAMMER:
Troubled U.S. House Majority Leader Tom Delay (R-TX) declared himself a sinner and called for greater humility in public servants while giving an "emotional homily" as part of National Day of Prayer activities, the Washington Post reports.

BUSH FINALLY FINISHES CLEARING BRUSH IN CRAWFORD, BEGINS CLEARING NATIONAL FORESTS:
President Bush rolled back restrictions on building forest roads. The New York Times reports that over 56 million acres of national forest land could be open for roads, mining, logging, or other development.

WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH KANSAS?:
The Evolution vs. Creationism debate heats up. The LA Times reports . Which argument will survive?

Now I'm not religeous by any means but I have to wonder why the extreme left is so afraid of those that are?

Sort of reminds me of old USSR - where they forbad churchs and all religon. Ahh - but isn't that the real agenda of the extreme liberal?

What is this "extreme left" that you are talking about? If opposing religious fundamentalists like DeLay or sticking up for good science (which is what evolution is, like it or not) puts me on the "extreme left," then I guess I am.

Where do you get off comparing people who believe in evolution with the Communist Party of the USSR? Do you have a single shred of evidence that the people you call "extreme liberals" want to outlaw religious worship? Please tell me you're making a joke.
