Patriot Act Extends, But Until When?

The Senate and House have now agreed to extend the Patriot Act. However, the two chambers have not agreed on a length for the extension with the Senate agreeing to six months and House only 5 weeks. This means that either the Act will expire at the end of the year or Congress will need to come back to Washington in the middle of the Holidays. What FUN!!! This does leave time for more lobbying to make certain that the Act is revised to include protection of civil liberties, so keep pushing your Senators and Representative with Holiday greetings.
