FEC Halts At Regulations On Ads

The Federal Election Commission put internet advertising under regulation today but left most other political speech, such as blogging, untouched.

Representative Lynn Woolsey (D-CA) and 15 co-sponsors from the Congressional Progressive Caucus introduced legislation this week that would transfer wasteful spending from the Pentagon budget and use it for healthcare, education, homeland security, and deficit reduction. They were joined by business and retired military leaders.
